Types of Pulp Therapy

There are two types of pulp therapy we offer that can restore the function of the tooth.

Pulpotomy: This involves removing the infected pulp from the crown portion of the tooth while leaving the healthy pulp in the root intact. A restorative crown is then placed on the tooth to protect it from further damage.

Pulpectomy: In more severe cases, the entire pulp, including the root canal, may need to be removed to eliminate the infection. A restorative crown is then placed on the tooth to protect it from further damage.
